Rock Pros USA is hiring a Heavy Equipment Loader Operator for our Upper Bell quarry in Arizona. We are looking for a dependable operator who can safely and efficiently operate a front-end loader in an active surface mining and rock crushing environment.
This is a hands-on quarry position. Our operators are part of the crew—not just equipment operators. You must be willing to get out of the cab and assist with general quarry and plant work when needed.
What You'll Do
- Safely operate a front-end loader to move, load, and stockpile material.
- Support crusher and plant production by maintaining an efficient flow of material.
- Perform required pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections.
- Monitor equipment condition and immediately report mechanical or safety concerns.
- Follow established haul routes, traffic patterns, operating procedures, and supervisor direction.
- Work safely around haul trucks, loaders, crushers, conveyors, and other mobile equipment.
- Follow all company safety procedures, site requirements, and MSHA regulations.
- Communicate with supervisors, haul truck drivers, and plant personnel.
- Assist with cleanup, plant maintenance, screen changes, crusher cleanup, shoveling, and other general quarry duties as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
What We're Looking For
- Previous front-end loader or heavy equipment operating experience preferred.
- Mining, quarry, aggregate, rock crushing, construction, or similar heavy industrial experience preferred.
- Ability to safely operate heavy equipment around personnel and other mobile equipment.
- Ability to perform equipment inspections and identify/report potential equipment problems.
- Strong safety awareness and ability to follow established procedures.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a production crew.
- Willingness to perform general labor and plant-support duties when not operating equipment.
The Right Fit
This position is best suited for someone who takes pride in operating equipment safely but understands that successful quarry production requires teamwork. If you're willing to operate the loader, get out of the cab when needed, and help the crew get the job done, we want to hear from you.
