Northwest Eye Surgeons is a nationally recognized, progressive ophthalmic medical and surgical practice with deep clinical expertise across a wide range of eye surgical services, advanced technology, and proven results. As we move into a new, larger location in Lynwood, we're growing our team, and we want you to grow with us!

We're currently hiring for two roles: Ophthalmic Technician and Patient Concierge.

Ophthalmic Technician

Join our clinical team and play a hands-on role in patient care. You'll:

  • Prep and manage exam lanes, keeping supplies stocked and ready
  • Take patient histories and perform ophthalmic workups and diagnostic exams
  • Educate patients on eye conditions and treatment plans
  • Keep medical records accurate and complete
  • Help keep patient flow on schedule and communicate with the care team
  • Bring flexibility and a team-first attitude to a fast-paced clinical environment

Patient Concierge

Be the welcoming face of our practice, both in person and on the phone. You'll:

  • Greet and assist patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism
  • Schedule routine, follow-up, and specialty appointments
  • Serve as a go-to point of contact for patient and visitor inquiries
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to keep patient flow smooth and communicate updates
  • Use strong problem-solving skills to navigate challenging interactions with empathy
  • Help create a positive, efficient front-office experience
Requirements

  

High school diploma or equivalent required 

One year of general office experience in a healthcare setting preferred 

Proficient in Microsoft Office, G Suite, and Windows-based systems 

Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal 

Able to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment, independently or as part of a team 

Comfortable working with elderly patients 

Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA policies and procedures
