Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. Under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA provides individualized treatments designed to improve residents' mobility, strength, function, and independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist.
- Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility and independence.
- Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to the PT and nursing team.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Educate residents and families on techniques to support safety and continued progress.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to achieve resident goals.
- Maintain a clean and safe therapy environment

Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current West Virginia PTA license.
- CPR certification required or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or geriatric experience preferred.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and resident-centered care skills.
- Ability to safely assist with resident transfers and lift up to 50 pounds.
