Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our Ambulatory Surgery Center team. This position is responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging and fluoroscopy support during surgical and procedural cases while maintaining patient safety and following all applicable radiation safety standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-rays and fluoroscopic imaging as ordered.
- Operate C-arm and other radiologic equipment during surgical procedures.
- Position patients appropriately to obtain quality images while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
- Assist physicians and surgical staff with imaging needs during procedures.
- Follow radiation safety practices and maintain proper use of protective equipment.
- Maintain imaging equipment and ensure supplies are available and ready for procedures.
- Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
- Follow infection prevention, sterile technique, and ASC safety protocols.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, surgical technologists, and other members of the surgical team.
Requirements
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R).
- Current state-required radiologic technologist license, if applicable.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience with C-arm and fluoroscopy preferred.
- Previous operating room, surgical, or ASC experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
