Time & Materials - Service Coordinator

Job Description Statement:

This role supports Block Imaging Parts & Service by managing incoming service calls and coordinating repairs for clients under service plans. This role schedules engineers, track service activity, and ensure accurate communication between customers and internal teams. The role helps keep repairs moving efficiently and supports a smooth, reliable service experience.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Manage incoming service calls, gather repair details, and schedule engineers.
  • Coordinate repairs, preventative maintenance, equipment tracking, and setup of serial numbers/site IDs.
  • Communicate with vendors and independent engineers, negotiate service and parts costs, and maintain strong relationships.
  • Monitor equipment performance, track service records and invoices, and support program profitability.
  • Provide customer follow-up, resolve issues with practical solutions, and handle additional duties as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Education Requirements:

Preferred Experience

  • Preferably 1–3 years of experience in a customer service environment.


Education (or equivalent experience)

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, with preference for Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Project Management, Business, or Management.
