Position Title: Strategic Partnership Manager
Department: Fleet Sales/CU Channel
Reports To: Director of Fleet Sales 


General Summary

The Strategic Partnership Manager (SPM) is responsible for driving measurable revenue growth through strong, long-term relationships with commercial upfitters (CUs), fleet management companies (FMCs), and other strategic partners. The SPM is accountable for expanding partner engagement, growing revenue year over year with each partner, and ensuring DECKED’s solutions are positioned as the preferred choice in the market. This role combines partner development, joint sales execution, and structured business planning to deliver predictable results and maximize market share.


Essential Job Functions

  • Develop annual business plans with each assigned partner to set revenue goals, track performance, and ensure year-over-year growth.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new partners that align with DECKED’s fleet and channel growth strategy.
  • Drive revenue growth through joint sales motions, demand generation, and pipeline expansion with partners.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to measure progress against revenue targets, pipeline health, and strategic priorities.
  • Collaborate with partners to execute co-branded marketing initiatives, events, and training that increase sales velocity.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to support partner-driven opportunities and align messaging.
  • Provide internal reporting on partner revenue, pipeline contribution, and forecast accuracy.
  • Represent DECKED at partner meetings, trade shows, and industry events to expand visibility and capture growth opportunities.
  • Serve as the liaison between partners and DECKED to resolve issues, improve execution, and maximize ROI.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Proven experience in partnership management, business development, or sales with measurable revenue responsibility (preferably within fleet, automotive, or commercial upfitting).
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding revenue growth targets with partners or key accounts.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship management, and executive communication skills.
  • Knowledge of B2B sales cycles and partner-driven revenue models.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and reporting tools.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple partner relationships and revenue plans simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for business development.
