This Part-time position floats as needed between receiving/scale house duties and loading of trucks and railcars. High Plains Processing and South Dakota Soybean Processors operates 365 days per year.
- Communicate with customers in a friendly, professional manner while directing the flow of truck traffic
- Perform all duties required to properly weigh incoming/outgoing trucks and railcars
- Complete all forms and documentation required for accurate recording of incoming/outgoing products
- Efficiently load trucks and rail cars without supervision ensuring that the correct sample is taken, bagged, sealed, and tested
- Perform duties required to operate meal loadout and oil loadout in a safe and efficient manner
- Maintain sanitation standards in each area receiving bay, shack, library, and grounds around receiving
- Measure beans with accuracy to ensure proper inventory levels in the meal and hull bins; properly record measurements for daily records
- Perform the necessary safety checks to ensure equipment is in safe and efficient operating condition
- Communicate to supervisor any problems that may occur and participate in problem solving
- Willing and able to learn both Load out and Receiving duties and fill in where needed
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Must be 18 years of age.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Perform duties outside normal responsibilities as needed to support the team and overall organizational goals.
· Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work well with others
· Maintain availability for shifts as agreed
