Pay Range: $45k/Yearly



Manage and coordinate activities of the casino operations (Slots, Table Games and Poker) staff to provide service to guests. Address guest complaints and resolve or refer to the appropriate department leadership which involves the complaint. Make repairs or adjustments to slot machines. Report hazards and enforce safety rules. The Casino Operations Manager is responsible for gaming operations oversight of both Maverick Casino & Hotel and Gold Country Inn & Casino.



  1. Responsible for the operational aspects of the Slots, Table Games and Poker operations.
  2. Responsible for running and interpreting daily reports for casino operations to be able to identify opportunities for improvement within casino operations.
  3. Responsible for recommending and implementing approved policies and procedures for Slot, Table Games, and Poker.
  4. Responsible for identifying and meeting staffing needs which includes interviewing, hiring, scheduling, coaching and terminations.
  5. Ensure proper orientation and training of all Slot, Table Game and Poker procedures.
  6. Complies with all company and departmental policies and procedures.
  7. Patrol assigned areas to ensure that players are following rules and that machines are functioning correctly.
  8. Approves slot vouchers for payouts as required
  9. Monitor operational quality or safety.
  10. Monitor patron activities to identify problems or potential problems.
  11. Verbal & aesthetically pleasing communication skills.
  12. Performs related and/or other duties as required
Requirements
  • Be 21 years of age.
  • College degree or equivalent education/experience preferred.
  • Must obtain a Nevada Gaming card.
  • Title 31 training.
  • Must have management experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Excellent customer service skills a must.
  • Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access and the Internet.
  • Solid organizational, time-management and prioritization skills.
  • Must work well in stressful, high-pressured situations.
  • Honesty and Integrity.

WORKING CONDITIONS: This position typically works varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. Must be able to lift 25 pounds; this position would require business professional attire.
