Summary:
The Hotel Night Auditor provides end of day accounting for hotel financial accounting. Support, knowledge, and assistance as needed in all areas of customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
The Night Auditors are responsible for the following job functions:
- Responsible for the Hotel and Front Desk operations during the overnight shift.
- Primary responsibilities include but not limited to: Registering guests, assign rooms, update guest history, confirm payment, and check in guest to rooms making reservations, preparing daily financial reports, balancing transactions, transmitting daily receipts. Completing shift checklists.
- Will have access to Player Club Database.
- Responsibility for validating Player Club eligibility for new gaming patrons wishing to participate in the approved gaming promotional activities.
- Night Auditors must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision. They must also be capable of problem solving and troubleshoot in order to resolve guest issues that may arise as well as respond to emergency situations.
- Assist with all aspects of guest services and present a positive impression of the establishment.
- Confirm guest satisfaction, close billing and issue receipts, store luggage and lifting of 25lbs required.
- Leave guest with a lasting positive impression of the establishment as they depart
- Supply information to guests regarding on-site facilities. Aware of bulletins of upcoming events and groups.
- As needed, perform other clerical duties such as filing, faxing, copying, and preparing and sorting mail.
- Multi task in communication devices.
- Verify and confirm guest registrants for security reasons.
- Communicate information between shifts to ensure job thoroughness to meet department objectives.
- May be required work overtime.
- Training of new Night Auditors job duties and procedures.
- Completes 30/60/90 Day review for new hires·
- Resolves customer complaints for Audit staff
- Creates Monthly Reports

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
- Basic computer knowledge is a plus. Customer service and multi tasking skills is extremely important.
- Must be fluent in English with regard to oral and written communication.
- Customer Service – Fantasy Springs Resort Casino is an organization in the hospitality industry. As such, the ability to conduct business in a positive and friendly manner – both with guests and staff and within negative situations – is a requirement of the position.
- Education – High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is required; or one to three years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Communication – The Front Desk Agent must be competent in oral and written communication and reading comprehension using the English language; bi-lingual ability in Spanish is a plus.
- Task management – Must be able to handle multiple tasks of varying priority and deadlines simultaneously.
- Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole number, common fractions, and decimals.
- Computer Skills – Proficient in the Microsoft Operating System, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Physical Demands:
A Night Auditor is frequently required to stand for 8 hours or more, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, as well as speak and hear. Employees may be required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Work Environment:
When auditing operations located on the casino floor will be exposed to second-hand smoke and moderate levels of noise.
