The Machinist will program/ run CNC mill machines, demonstrating proficiency in applying basic machining principles & use of precision measuring equipment. This is a day shift opportunity.


Please  note this position is located in Maysville, OK.


  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Operate a machining work cell equipped with a Fadal VMC 4020 and an Okuma M560.

· Set up and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality parts according to blueprints and specifications.

· Maintain required dimensions and close tolerances throughout the machining process.

· Complete assigned work according to the established production schedule.

· Inspect and measure machined workpieces to verify conformance with specifications and quality standards.

· Adjust machine controls, settings, and guides as needed to maintain accuracy and quality.

· Perform finishing operations, including filing, sanding, shaping, and cleaning machined parts.

· Perform routine preventive maintenance and minor maintenance on assigned equipment.

· Accurately use and read precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

· Follow all applicable safety procedures and company policies.

Requirements


· Minimum 2 years related working experience

· Experience using CAM software; FeatureCAM experience is preferred

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

· Ability to perform shop math and calculate dimensions and tolerances accurately
