Job Summary

This position plays an essential role in driving new customer acquisition and our company's overall growth. The SDR will be responsible for generating new sales opportunities through outbound prospecting, qualifying leads, and setting up and ensuring the successful holding of demos for the sales team. This role has a clear advancement path to both sales and account management positions, offering an excellent opportunity for career development.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Generating and qualifying leads through proactive outbound prospecting via phone calls, emails, and other innovative  channels.

• Setting up demos for the sales team with qualified leads and ensuring these demos are successfully held by maintaining strong relationships and clear communication with potential customers.

• Staying abreast with product knowledge to effectively present solutions to potential customers.

• Meeting or exceeding monthly quotas of set and successfully held demos.

• Collaborating with the sales team to develop innovative lead generation strategies.

• Nurturing and managing prospective leads until they are qualified as sales-ready and ready to be transitioned to the sales team. Focus prospecting efforts on new sales opportunities and do not contact prospects who are already in active sales conversations with a Sales Consultant or who have previously completed a sales meeting, unless directed by management.

• Utilizing CRM software to track and measure all sales activities and customer interactions.

• Regular and reliable attendance is required as this is a full-time position.

• Other duties as assigned by management. 


Key Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications:

• Proven work experience as a Sales Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar role.

• Experience with outbound sales techniques (including cold calls) and setting up demos.

• A track record of achieving sales quotas, particularly in setting and holding demos.

• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).

• Familiarity with sales performance metrics, specifically demo-focused KPIs.

• Understanding of sales principles and an ability to quickly learn about new products.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

• BA/BS degree or relevant sales experience. 


Physical/Mental Requirements for the Job:

• Prolonged periods of sedentary movement.

• May be requested to work overtime and weekends if deemed necessary.

• Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds.

• Certain management positions might be required to occasional travel.


Salary Description
$65,500 - $81,500/year
