Position Summary

Kunes Auto Group is seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused Cashier/Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our dealership. In this front desk role, you'll greet customers, manage a multi-line phone system, handle payments and cash reconciliation, register warranties on newly sold vehicles, and support our sales, service, and parts departments with accurate administrative and clerical work. This is a great opportunity for someone organized, friendly, and detail-oriented who enjoys a fast-paced customer service environment. 



Compensation

  • $18.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience 


Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and visitors, and direct them to the appropriate department
  • Answer and route a multi-line phone system promptly and professionally
  • Receive payments for service, parts, and sales down payments, and reconcile cash payments daily
  • Register warranties for newly sold vehicles
  • Process wholesale unit paperwork and enter new vehicle units into inventory
  • Manage office supply inventory and reorder as needed
  • Handle customer complaints and inquiries professionally, maintaining a friendly and patient demeanor
  • Perform general administrative and clerical support for sales, service, and parts teams
  • Maintain an organized front desk and filing system
  • Multitask and meet deadlines across multiple responsibilities
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the team
Requirements

 

Qualifications

  • Prior cashier, receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience preferred but not required
  • Prior dealership experience a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Excel and basic computer/data entry skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a busy front-office setting
  • Positive, professional, team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and sit at a desk for prolonged periods
  • Some nights and weekends may be required
