The Residence Inn near Universal is currently seeking a dynamic, experienced and motivated individual for the position of Houseperson at our StepStone Hospitality managed hotel. This candidate should demonstrate excellent organizational & communication skills, a strong proficiency in multi-tasking. Previous hotel housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
1. Main Responsibilities
· Collect soiled linens for laundering from housekeeper's carts and linen closets
· Vacuum floors, clean bathrooms and common areas.
· Run linen to housekeepers as needed.
· Deliver baby cribs, pillows, extra towels, and miscellaneous guest requests to guest rooms.
· Remove trash and debris from guest rooms and common areas where trash recepticles are located.
· Restock shelves with paper supplies and restock room cleaner caddies daily.
· Put away all incoming supplies and deliveries
2. Additional Support
· Must have knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
· Ability to accurately report information.
· Ability to scrupulously follow all StepStone and hotel policies and procedures.
· Attend required meetings.

· Minimum lifting of 20 pounds.

Additional responsibilities specific to you are:
· Must have knowledge of all hotel departments and functions.
· Must have good mathematical and computer skills.
· High school education preferred. Relevant training and experience required.
· Additional language ability preferred.
