Reclaim Operator
Description

• Perform and Document Required Inspections of Equipment.

• Analyze Equipment Performance and Make Necessary Changes to Keep a Constant Flow of Chips to the Facility.

• Oversee the Proper Functions of Grooming and Normal Reclaim of the Linear Chip Piles.

• Assist the Wood Yard in Watching the Proper Functions of the Stacker.

• Ensure All Work Is Performed in a Timely and Safe Manner.

• Maintain All Equipment, Tools, and Workstations.

• Ability to Utilize Skills to Improve Equipment Optimization and Reliability.

• Maintain Logs, And Record Labor, Materials and Equipment Used.

• Effectively Communicate to All Team Members and Management any Equipment Deficiencies.

• Meticulous Attention to Detail; Able to Follow Instruction Both Written and Verbal.

• Participate in Breakdown Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, Focused Improvement, And 5S Projects.

• Ensure Workers Adhere to Local, State and Federal Codes and Regulations.

• Perform Other Related Duties as Assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Education; Trade School or College Preferred.

• Ability to Sit in One Location for Multiple Hours.

• Ability to Stay Awake While Watching the Equipment Flow to Prevent Upset Conditions on the Reclaimer and Stacker System.

• One Year of In Plant Manufacturing Experience.

• Ability to Work Independently and Utilize Critical Problem Solving and Decision-Making Skills to Generate and Implement Solutions Throughout the Process.

• Must Maintain Compliance Within All LOTO, Confined Space, Hot Work, Working at Heights Policies.

• OSHA 10 Training and Experience.

• Ability to Work Extended Hours to Includes Nights, Weekends, and Holidays.

• Ability to Continuously Walk or Stand, Bend, Squat, Climb Stairs and Lift Items Above Shoulders.

• Ability to Work Outdoors, Rotating Shifts, and Lift 50 Pounds Required.
