What You'll Do

As the Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll work closely with the Property Manager to lead your team and ensure Legacy North Pointe remains safe, well-maintained, and welcoming for residents.

  • Lead and support your maintenance team by providing direction, setting priorities, and helping team members succeed.
  • Schedule and coordinate service support to maintain the appearance, functionality, and safety of the community.
  • Manage competing priorities and deadlines while providing technical and project direction to the maintenance team.
  • Use your troubleshooting and hands-on repair skills to respond to a variety of residential service requests promptly and professionally.
  • Prepare apartment homes for new residents by completing repairs and maintenance involving HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliances, building exteriors, pools, and other systems.
  • Identify upcoming maintenance needs and help plan projects and preventative maintenance initiatives.
  • Monitor expenses and help ensure maintenance resources are used effectively.
  • Partner with the Property Manager to establish high standards for the community and create an environment residents are proud to call home.
  • Deliver a high level of customer service while building positive relationships with residents, vendors, and team members.
Requirements

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for a maintenance professional who combines strong technical skills with a passion for leadership and customer service.

  • Minimum of 3 years of multifamily apartment maintenance experience
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, appliances, and building exteriors
  • Ability to prioritize work, solve problems, and keep projects moving forward
  • Professional and effective electronic communication skills
  • A customer-focused mindset and ability to build strong relationships with residents, vendors, and team members
  • Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and comfortable taking ownership of responsibilities
  • Flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule, including evenings, weekends, and on-call hours

Education, Licenses & Certifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • EPA certification
  • Substantial hands-on HVAC repair experience
