Container Centralen, Inc (CC, Inc) has rapidly established itself as the largest rack/cart supplier to the North American horticultural industry. We provide the industry with access to approximately 850,000 shipping racks/carts for delivery of live plants to garden center retailers. We operate a unique and powerful business model which allows us to offer high-value asset rental and logistics services to our Customers.
JOB OVERVIEW
The Account Manager (AM) will build strong relationships with assigned customers whilst also boosting market share and sales from new Customers. We have a highly collaborative team culture and in order to succeed, the AM will partner closely with other members of the AM team as well as our other CC team members. The AM will report directly to the VP of Sales & Account Management.
JOB DUTIES
- Acts as the primary point of contact for customers in the current client base, cultivating strong and enduring relationships.
- Assesses customer needs and establishes productive, long-lasting relationships.
- Designs and executes both short and long-term sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Collaborates with the management team to formulate and implement Strategic Sales and Account Management Plans.
- Achieves personal and team sales targets.
- Ensures the acquisition and expansion of profitable revenue from existing customers to meet CC's growth objectives.
- Teams up with the Account Management team to foster revenue growth by promoting the extended utilization of CC's core services.
- Assists in the development and launch of new CC products and services.
- Develop a strong understanding of the CC business model so that the high volume of transactions generated by Customer use of our services can be explained and potentially lead to recommendations for changes to the Customer’s use of CC’s services.
- Works closely with internal teams to craft and deliver compelling presentations.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree with related field experience required
- 5+ Years Sales and Account Management Experience
- Proven track record of growing market share with existing accounts
- Some overnight travel will be required
- A valid drivers license is required
- Robust analytical abilities for identifying growth opportunities with Customers
- Excellent Interpersonal communication skills
- Great attention to detail
- Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM is preferred
- Supply Chain, 3PL, Carrier experience a plus but not required
- Self-motivated, relying on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
