Health Quality Innovators (HQI) is seeking a Project Coordinator with strong project management, communication, and organizational skills to support hospitals, nursing homes, and clinicians participating in the CMS-funded Quality Innovation Network-Quality Improvement Organization (QIN-QIO) Program.
As part of a national quality improvement program focused on making care safer and improving patient outcomes, you will coordinate communications, learning events, educational resources, and funder reporting across a multi-state region.
Location: Remote, preferably in the Southeast region.
What You'll Do
- Source stories, content, and resources for three monthly newsletters
- Coordinate newsletter content with HQI's internal communications team and quality improvement consultants
- Plan and support virtual learning events
- Manage informational resources and educational content for project participants
- Ensure timely, consistent communication with participants and stakeholders
- Coordinate and contribute to funder reports
- Use project management skills to coordinate the work of others and keep deliverables moving

- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare field or related area required
- One to three years of healthcare operations, communications, or quality improvement experience preferred
- Project management experience, including the ability to coordinate the work of others
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to build consultative relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Ability to function effectively as a member of a remote team and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Office 365 and strong time-management skills
Highly Desired
- Experience coordinating training sessions
- Experience researching evidence-based practices
- Ability to interpret performance and benchmarking data and identify improvement priorities
- Comfort using sound judgment to keep work moving when complete information is not available
- Prior QIO/QIN-QIO or CMS-funded program experience
Ideal Candidate: Someone who is organized, collaborative, and comfortable coordinating communications and project activities across multiple teams while keeping deadlines and deliverables on track.
Travel:
- Limited (<10%) travel may be required, including travel to Richmond, Virginia, for an annual all-company meeting.
