Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer (FSE) to provide hands-on technical support for critical manufacturing equipment across our U.S. facilities. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance, and rapid response to equipment downtime to maximize reliability and operational performance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair critical manufacturing equipment, including Tetra Pak fillers, linear fillers, and JBT equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to improve equipment reliability, performance, and lifespan.
  • Respond quickly to unplanned downtime and drive issues through resolution.
  • Partner with site maintenance and engineering teams to troubleshoot technical challenges and optimize equipment performance.
  • Share technical expertise and support the development and training of site technicians.
  • Coordinate with equipment vendors and external partners when specialized support is required.
  • Maintain accurate service, repair, and equipment-performance documentation.
  • Ensure all work complies with applicable safety and quality standards.
  • Provide regular equipment and service updates to the Senior Manager of Field Service.
Requirements

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of industrial equipment maintenance and repair experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Tetra Pak and/or JBT equipment is strongly preferred.
  • Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to diagnose problems and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing safety and compliance requirements.
  • Ability and willingness to travel weekly to manufacturing sites across the U.S.
