Premier Bone & Joint Centers is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures and provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced orthopedic practice. This position performs X-ray imaging, c-arm procedures to include pain injections and OR cases, and related radiology operations depending on experience, training, and department needs. This position may also assist with MRI imaging. MRI experience is welcomed but not required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

•  Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images while following radiation safety standards.
• Position and educate patients regarding imaging procedures.
• Review, post-process, and transmit studies through PACS.
• Properly position and image ASC/pain management patients utilizing the c-arm according to protocol.
• Open sterile supplies and set up for procedures while maintaining a sterile field.
• Operate c-arm and maintain sterile field in the operating room- assisting OR staff with patient transfer, room turnover, etc. 
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality.
• Very minimal travel may be required to assist with radiology duties in outlying clinics as needed—travel may be by plane or car. 

• MRI experience not required- will train on the job, expected ARRT MRI registry within 2 years of starting MRI training.
• Perform MRI exams in accordance with established clinical procedure/protocol- communicating with radiologist group as necessary. 
• Ensure patient’s and employee’s safety, with respect to the MRI magnet.

Clean, Neat, Safe Environment

• Maintain a clean, neat, and safe environment for patients and staff, including personal work areas.

Maintenance

• Troubleshoot equipment problems and coordinate vendor services.

Supplies Ordering

• Restock supplies in radiology department- rotate oldest items to be used first. 
• Proper communication to order supplies for department, including X-Ray, MRI, and procedure room if you notice something is low. 

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT Certification in Radiography (R).
• Current Wyoming Radiologic Technologist License.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MRI experience and/or ARRT (MR) certification.
• Orthopedic or outpatient imaging experience.
• Experience with OR and pain management cases utilizing c-arm.
