ABOUT THE ROLE (Remote)

Create qualified executive conversations that become pipeline opportunities by engaging health system leaders through thoughtful outreach, relationship development, and disciplined follow-up. The Strategic Partnerships Representative serves as the bridge between marketing-generated awareness and Sales VP-led opportunity development. This individual will report to the Senior Director of Sales Enablement, who reports to the Chief Growth Officer. 


Principal Duties and Responsibilities      

  • Execute disciplined email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, executive calling, event follow-up, webinar follow-up, and referral outreach to engage priority health system leaders and create qualified executive conversations.
  • Qualify inbound inquiries, conduct discovery conversations, understand organizational priorities, identify decision makers, and determine buying timelines to assess fit and readiness for Sales VP engagement.
  • Schedule executive meetings, re-engage dormant prospects, nurture existing opportunities, and follow structured outreach   cadences that convert awareness and interest into accepted pipeline opportunities.
  • Document conversations, update opportunity status, maintain accurate contact records, and track engagement activity to support visibility, accountability, and effective Sales VP follow-up.
  • Partner with Sales VPs, coordinate with Marketing, and work from Sales Enablement account priorities to align outreach activity with commercial strategy and territory priorities. 
  • Create qualified meetings, generate executive conversations, improve speed-to-lead, increase meeting attendance rate, and ensure meetings are relevant, timely, and aligned to account priorities. 
  • Contribute to pipeline generated, opportunity conversion, and pipeline acceptance by Sales VPs through consistent qualification, disciplined follow-up, and clear handoff documentation.
  • Maintain CRM quality, follow outreach cadences, respond promptly to inbound leads, provide accurate activity reporting, and continuously improve outreach effectiveness through feedback and coaching.
Requirements

Education

Required: Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. 

Preferred:  Additional training in sales development, healthcare sales, CRM usage, consultative selling, or professional communication. 

Experience

Required: 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales development, healthcare sales, inside sales, enterprise sales development, or related commercial outreach roles. 

Preferred: Experience as a BDR or SDR; familiarity with health systems, healthcare provider organizations, executive outreach, lead qualification, and CRM-based pipeline development. 

Credentials

Preferred: Relevant certifications or coursework in sales development, business development, CRM platforms, healthcare, or digital prospecting tools. 


Skills and Abilities   

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage executive-level healthcare leaders professionally and thoughtfully.
  • Disciplined follow-up habits and comfort working from structured outreach cadences.
  • Curiosity and consultative discovery skills to understand health system priorities, pain points, and buying timelines.
  • Ability to qualify opportunities, identify decision makers, and translate prospect conversations into clear next steps for Sales VPs.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in CRM documentation, contact management, and activity tracking.
  • Collaborative approach with Sales VPs, Marketing, and Sales Enablement to align outreach with account priorities.
  • Resilience, persistence, and professionalism in outbound prospecting and executive engagement.
