Description

Position Objective: 

To provide administrative support to the Corporate Responsibility Department 


Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assisting Corporate Responsibility Department staff members with administrative tasks, including internet-based and database research related to companies, industries, organizational structure, histories, corporate policies and practices, and contact information, and other issues relevant to departmental work

• Performing clerical work, including database management, filing, compiling receipts, and submitting expense reports

• Maintaining and updating spreadsheets, databases, contact records, and other tracking systems used to support our work

• Maintaining electronic filing systems and ensuring accurate record retention

• Assisting with managing calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating calls and video conferences, preparing agendas or meeting materials, tracking action items, and deadlines

• Assisting with the formatting of correspondence, reports, presentations, and other departmental materials

• Performing any other duties assigned by a supervisor, director, or President

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of college coursework or two years of experience in an office setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Microsoft CoPilot

• Proven effective written and verbal communication skills 

• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks within strict time constraints, set priorities, and meet deadlines

• Demonstrated excellent organizational skills, data entry experience, and attention to detail 

• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate across all levels of an organization 

• Demonstrated effective research skills 

• Proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality at all times 

• Willingness to receive and implement feedback 

• Support for PETA's philosophy and the ability to professionally advocate for PETA's positions on issues 

• Commitment to the objectives of the organization 



  

The hourly pay range for this position is $16.50 - $21.65. The ultimate hourly pay within this range that will be offered to a qualified candidate will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and the cost of living in the area in which the candidate will live and work.
