Position Summary
LiveTrends Design Group is seeking a highly motivated, professional, and results-driven Lowe’s Senior Divisional Outside Sales Manager – West to oversee and grow LiveTrends business within assigned Lowe’s divisions. The position requires substantial travel serving as a key field representative of LiveTrends throughout the assigned territory, frequent store visits, daily virtual communication, and the ability to effectively operate at the divisional, regional, district, and store levels.
The Senior Divisional Outside Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, merchandising excellence, product knowledge, service execution, and customer relationships throughout the assigned division. This role will work closely with Lowe’s Field Merchants, Live Goods Merchants, Merchandising Service Teams, and Store Leadership at all levels, as well as LiveTrends internal teams and third-party merchandising partners.

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
Sales & Business Development
· Develop and maintain annual and quarterly divisional business plans identifying sales objectives, growth opportunities, key initiatives, risks, and action plans aligned with LiveTrends and Lowe’s business priorities.
· Provide field intelligence and actionable feedback to LiveTrends Product Design, Sales, Marketing, and Business Development teams regarding consumer trends, product performance, competitive activity, assortment opportunities, and emerging market needs.
· Drive sales growth and achieve or exceed sales objectives within the assigned Lowe’s division.
· Develop and execute divisional, regional, district, and store-level sales initiatives.
· Analyze sales performance, inventory levels, sell-through, merchandising conditions, and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
· Provide actionable recommendations to the Lowe’s Business Development Team to improve sales, inventory productivity, sell-through, and overall business performance.
· Identify localized market opportunities and communicate emerging trends, competitive activity, customer needs, and business opportunities.
· Protect and strengthen established account initiatives while identifying opportunities for incremental sales and expanded product placement.
· Partner with Lowe’s leadership to develop solutions that improve product availability, presentation, service levels, and customer engagement.
· Demonstrate a strong competitive drive and sense of urgency focused on business growth and customer satisfaction.
· Support and help drive the National direction as well as regional/divisional initiatives
· Own sales performance and forecasting for the assigned Lowe’s division, driving achievement against sales goals, budgets, forecasts, and prior-year results. Monitor performance, identify gaps and risks, and develop actionable plans to improve results.
· Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts informed by sales trends, historical performance, inventory, promotional activity, seasonal patterns, new product introductions, and market conditions; proactively communicate risks, opportunities, and recommended actions to the Lowe’s Business Development Team.
· Drive sales growth and recovery by identifying underperforming stores, products, and assortments and developing targeted strategies to improve performance through timing, placement, assortment, display, and inventory positioning.
· Lead execution of seasonal, promotional, and product initiatives, partnering with internal teams to meet Lowe’s merchandising and assortment requirements and maximize in-store execution and sales results.
· Provide actionable competitive and market intelligence on competitor activity, consumer trends, pricing, promotions, assortment, and merchandising, translating insights into recommendations that identify opportunities, address gaps, and strengthen Lowe’s sales performance.
Merchandising & Store Execution
· Maintain high standards of merchandising excellence across assigned stores.
· Ensure execution of planograms, maps, resets, fixture installations, store sets, retrofits, displays, POP, and other merchandising initiatives.
· Evaluate product and find opportunities for incremental display space and product positioning.
· Maintain shelf presentation, inventory integrity, pricing accuracy, and LiveTrends brand standards.
· Partner with store management to address inventory needs and facilitate replenishment opportunities.
· Conduct inventory reconciliation, pricing surveys, and other field assessments to identify additional sales opportunities.
· Plan store visits strategically to maximize efficiency, effectiveness, and business impact.
· Ensure established processes, programs, and service expectations are consistently executed.
· Identify and resolve store-level issues quickly while developing sustainable solutions and continuous improvement opportunities.
Project & Service Management
· Serve as the primary field project manager for Merchandising Services Teams and approved third-party service providers operating within the assigned division.
· Coordinate service activities, store execution, resets, installations, maintenance, and other field projects.
· Provide clear direction and establish expectations for service partners and merchandising teams.
· Monitor execution quality, timelines, productivity, and compliance with LiveTrends and Lowe’s requirements.
· Identify execution gaps and take appropriate corrective action.
· Communicate project status, challenges, and opportunities to the Lowe’s Business Development Team.
· Promote consistent execution and process discipline across the assigned territory.
Training & Product Education
· Deliver product knowledge and merchandising training to Lowe’s associates, store leadership, and other appropriate audiences.
· Educate Lowe’s teams on LiveTrends products, programs, merchandising standards, and service expectations.
· Present confidently and professionally to individuals and groups at the store, district, regional, and divisional levels.
· Provide product counseling and support to improve associate confidence and their ability to sell LiveTrends products to customers.
· Serve as a knowledgeable resource regarding LiveTrends products, programs, displays, and customer experience expectations.
Relationship Management
· Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with Lowe’s Field Merchants, Live Goods Merchants, Store Operations, District Managers, Store Managers, Department Managers, and other key decision-makers.
· Communicate effectively with stakeholders and ensure critical store-level information reaches the appropriate LiveTrends and Lowe’s teams.
· Maintain accurate records of store visits, customer interactions, opportunities, issues, commitments, and follow-up activities within designated company systems.
· Represent LiveTrends with integrity and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
· Act as a visible brand advocate and ambassador for LiveTrends throughout the assigned division.

· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
· Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned division, including overnight travel.
Ability to safely climb ladders and perform physical activities required in a retail environment, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
Travel & Work Requirement & Environment
· This is a field-based position requiring substantial travel throughout the assigned Lowe’s division. The manager will regularly visit stores, attend meetings, conduct training, oversee merchandising and service activities, and interact directly with Lowe’s leadership and associates.
· Daily virtual meetings and ongoing communication with the Lowe’s Business Development Team.
· Vehicle allowance and mileage/travel reimbursement provided.
· Exposure to varying weather conditions while traveling between assigned stores.
· Must consistently follow safe work practices and all applicable company and Lowe’s policies.
Education & Experience
· Associate’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
· 5+ years of experience in outside sales, retail sales, merchandising, account management, field management, or a related discipline preferred.
· Experience working with major retailers, particularly home improvement, garden, live goods, or consumer products, is strongly preferred.
· Previous leadership, supervisory, project management, or field management experience preferred.
· Demonstrated experience analyzing sales and inventory data and translating findings into actionable business recommendations.
Experience presenting to and training groups is highly desirable.
