Standard Work Schedule:
- Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm. MUST be willing to be flexible as jobs may change.
Position Summary:
BIM Coordinators are responsible for digital design coordination. The BIM Coordinator will assist the operations team by generating and managing digital models of places; building information models and virtual files that support decision-making during the building process.
Position Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed layout drawings of electrical feeder conduits, equipment, and light fixtures using Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD software and Revizto.
- Understand electrical product data sheets for the distribution of equipment and lighting.
- Create Revit families in response to company and project needs.
- Attend project planning meetings to review and resolve design and installation issues.
- Resolve BIM design issues with contractors and engineers.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Required: Minimum 2+ years’ experience in BIM modeling.
- Required: Minimum 3+ years’ experience in commercial electrical BIM coordination.
- Preferred: Degree or certification in Computer Aided Drafting and Design.
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
