Title: EAC Field Services Supervisor
Department: Electronic Access Control
Pay Status: Exempt
Reports To: Senior Manager for EAC Systems Integration and Field Services
JOB SUMMARY
Manage area scheduling and project management operations which facilitate the maximization of resources to achieve customer satisfaction, productivity, schedule adherence and economic goals within low voltage department. This Position will require strong knowledge of installations, designs, and services provided by electronic access control technicians which may include door access control, CCTV, low voltage communication and networking including cable management. As an access control manager, this person is expected to be self-motivated, self-managed and with the ability to lead a team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
- Regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds.
- Occasionally team lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch.
- Frequently required to push/pull a ladder, ascend and/or descend ladder while holding awkward sized items.
- Occasionally required to sit, climb and balance while on installing equipment.
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
- Must have a valid license and be able to drive to and from job sites.
JOB FUNCTIONS
- Coordinate Integrator resources and technician duties related to assigned project execution.
- Monitor the daily progress of all assigned project activities and participate in regular (weekly) status meetings.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
- Report and escalate project issues and/or risks as needed.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation in conjunction with full collaboration with project management
- Understands the importance of life safety and enforce safety procedures within the company.
- Mentor and train team members in all aspects of installation related to job tasks.
- High technical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot issues related to electronic access control.
- Coordinate outside labor as needed.
- Work with various tools and power tools.
- Expertise level knowledge of cable management, door controllers, commercial hardware, and magnetic locks.
- Able to install keypads, badge readers and crash bars on an expert level.
- Manage and supervise field technicians, installers, and service personnel
- Monitor labor utilization, productivity, and performance metrics
- Conduct field inspections and quality assurance audits
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and evaluating field personnel
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Possess and maintain a valid state driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Must be detail-oriented and organized.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and project documentation
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external customers.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of IP networking fundamentals
- OSHA certification or safety training
- Must be mechanically inclined and have electrical experience.
- Must adhere to all safety and housekeeping policies and guidelines.
TRAVEL
- Position is as much as 100% travel focused on the state of Texas.
- May be required to travel to other areas and states in the U.S. as needed.
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.
- Posses or have ability to obtain proper state licensing once hired (Low Voltage B license, Alarm Installer Lic. etc.)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the physical security, fire alarm or low voltage communication industry installing fields.
- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience running medium to large sized jobs in industry.
