Position Summary

The Plant Production Worker is responsible for performing a variety of production, assembly, material handling, and general plant duties to support the safe and efficient operation of the manufacturing facility. This position requires a dependable, hands-on individual who is willing to learn, works well with others, and takes pride in producing quality work.

This job offers the opportunity to work on a flexible schedule, based on production needs and business requirements. Scheduling options may include adjusted start times, alternate shifts, or other approved scheduling arrangements.


Essential Responsibilities

• Perform production and manufacturing tasks according to established procedures and work instructions.

• Operate production equipment and hand tools safely after receiving appropriate training.

• Assemble, process, package, label, and prepare products for the next stage of production.

• Load, unload, move, and organize materials throughout the plant.

• Inspect products and materials for quality, accuracy, and defects.

• Follow production schedules and meet established productivity standards.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.

• Complete production paperwork and documentation accurately when required.

• Work cooperatively with team members and other departments.

• Assist with various plant duties and projects as assigned.

Potential scheduling options may include:

  • Alternative start and end times
  • First, or third shifts
  • Adjusted weekly schedules
  • Part-time scheduling, where applicable

Flexible scheduling is subject to management approval and may not be available for every position, shift, or department. Production requirements and business needs will always be considered.
