Requirements

 

What You'll Do

· Perform accurate diagnosis, maintenance, and repairs on GM vehicles

· Diagnose complex electrical, drivability, engine, transmission, HVAC, and chassis concerns

· Perform warranty and customer-pay repairs according to GM procedures

· Utilize GM diagnostic equipment, service information, and technical resources

· Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship

· Perform multi-point inspections and identify additional maintenance or repair needs

· Properly document diagnostic findings and repairs performed

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

· Work closely with Service Advisors, Parts, and other technicians to ensure an excellent customer experience

· Stay current on GM technical information, service procedures, and product updates


What We're Looking For

· Previous professional automotive technician experience

· GM dealership experience preferred

· Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

· Ability to accurately diagnose electrical and mechanical concerns

· Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and technical service information

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

· Reliable, dependable, and self-motivated

· Ability to work independently while also being a team player

· Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

· ASE certifications are a plus

· GM certifications are a plus
