The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling products and components according to work instructions, drawings, and quality standards. This position works with a variety of materials and components used in the manufacturing and fabrication of plastic products and equipment. 

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assemble components and products according to work instructions, drawings, and specifications. 
• Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and properly. 
• Inspect materials and completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality requirements. 
• Follow established production processes and procedures. 
• Identify and report defective materials, assembly issues, or quality concerns to the appropriate supervisor. 
• Read and follow work orders, assembly instructions, and other manufacturing documentation. 
• Maintain accurate production and quality records as required. 
• Package, label, and prepare completed products for the next stage of production or shipment. 
• Maintain a clean and organized work area. 
• Follow all company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). 
• Work collaboratively with Production, Quality, Engineering, and other departments. 
• Meet established production schedules and performance expectations. 
• Perform other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred. 
• Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred, but not required. 
• Basic mechanical aptitude. 
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions. 
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools. 
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Reliable attendance and ability to meet production schedules. 

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. 
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks using hands and arms. 
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and lift as needed. 
• Ability to lift up to [50 pounds], with or without reasonable accommodation.
