The Opportunity
As a BIM Modeler at ADRM, you’ll help turn physical security designs into accurate, coordinated BIM models and construction documentation for complex client environments. Working in Revit and AutoCAD, you’ll develop and maintain models incorporating access control, video surveillance, and other physical security systems, along with associated device layouts, cabling and conduit schedules, risers, and design details.
You’ll work closely with the team to coordinate models, identify clashes, incorporate design revisions, and ensure deliverables meet project requirements and ADRM standards. This is a hands-on production role for someone who understands both BIM and the physical security environment and wants to contribute to sophisticated security design projects across ADRM’s client portfolio.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain accurate BIM models in Revit and AutoCAD in accordance with ADRM standards and project requirements
- Produce detailed design documentation including drawings, countermeasure layouts, cabling and conduit schedules, device typicals, risers, and related specifications
- Assist with model coordination by identifying clashes and supporting coordination reviews using Navisworks Manage
- Update and manage project models to reflect design revisions, coordination outcomes, and project milestones
- Follow established ADRM BIM standards, templates, and workflows to ensure model consistency and quality
- Coordinate with internal design teams and project stakeholders to support timely and accurate project deliverables
- Support model audits and quality checks under the direction of the BIM Manager or Project Lead
- Participate in internal knowledge sharing and assist with improving modeling practices and documentation efficiency
- Other duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring
- Degree in Engineering/Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Architecture/Architectural technology, Computer Aided Drafting and Design, or equivalent or related experience
- 2+ years of experience in a Security Design and Production environment
- Security industry experience required, with an understanding of physical security systems, design standards, and client environments
- Proficient with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks and Bluebeam Revu applications
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work both independently and in a team oriented collaborative environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills
