PacAero Agawam (formerly Litron) is a leader in the Defense and Aerospace sectors, specializing in RF/microwave package integration, laser welding, CNC machining, medical device manufacturing, and more. Job Details:

PacAero Agawam is looking for an organized, detail-oriented Sales, Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator to join our team.

This position provides administrative and operational support across Sales and Purchasing, and Inventory, helping keep customer orders, purchasing activities and internal communication organized and moving efficiently.


This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, is comfortable working with computers and spreadsheets, and wants to learn more about the business side of manufacturing. Prior aerospace or manufacturing experience is not required — we are willing to train the right person.


This position is onsite in Agawam, MA, full-time, Monday – Friday 

Requirements

  

Sales & Customer Support

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Sales team
  • Enter and maintain customer orders and related information in company systems
  • Assist with customer inquiries regarding order status, lead times, pricing, and delivery information
  • Prepare quotes, order acknowledgments, reports, and other sales documentation
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales-related documentation
  • Follow up on open orders and assist with routine customer communication
  • Work with Production, Quality, Shipping, and other departments to support customer requirements
  • Communicate order updates, changes, or potential delays to the appropriate team members

Purchasing Support

  • Create and process purchase orders for materials, supplies, and services
  • Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and order status
  • Follow up on open purchase orders and assist with expediting materials when needed
  • Assist with obtaining vendor quotes and maintaining vendor information
  • Verify purchasing documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Update purchase order information and expected delivery dates within company systems
  • Assist with purchasing-related follow-up and discrepancies
  • Maintain organized purchasing records and supporting documentation

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Maintain organized electronic and physical records
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and operational documentation
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry
  • Assist with maintaining information within the ERP system
  • Provide general administrative support across departments as needed
  • Assist with special projects and cross-functional activities
  • Provide backup administrative support within the office as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

  

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Previous administrative, customer service, sales support, purchasing or manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, required
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, data entry, and computer-based systems
  • Ability and willingness to learn ERP/MRP and other company systems
  • Experience with an ERP/MRP system is a plus
  • Manufacturing or aerospace experience is a plus, but not required

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Primarily an office environment within an active manufacturing facility
  • Frequent use of a computer, keyboard, telephone, and other standard office equipment
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods
  • Occasional walking throughout production, inventory, and shipping/receiving areas
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Must follow all applicable safety requirements and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) when entering designated manufacturing areas

Pay

The pay range listed for this position represents a good-faith estimate based on the role, internal equity, market data, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, education, and internal pay alignment.
