Job Summary for Lot Attendant

  

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Lot Attendant to join our auction team. This position is primarily outdoors and involves moving, organizing, inspecting, and maintaining vehicles and equipment throughout the auction lot.


Lot Attendant experience is not required.  The ideal candidate has previous experience working outdoors in a physically demanding environment, such as a skilled trade, construction, automotive, equipment operation, landscaping, warehouse/yard operations, or a previous lot attendant position.

Responsibilities for Lot Attendant:

  • Safely move, park, and organize vehicles.
  • Maintain an organized & accurate vehicle inventory.
  • Assist with vehicle check-in and staging.
  • Keep the auction lot clean, safe, and organized.
  • Support auction operations and special projects as needed.

Work Hours for Lot Attendant:

  • Monday - Thursday 9am - 6pm
  • Friday 9am - 4pm


Requirements

 Requirements for Lot Attendant

  • Previous experience working outdoors in a hands-on or physically demanding job. 
  • Experience in a skilled trade, automotive, construction, equipment, warehouse/yard, landscaping, farm, or lot attendant position is strongly preferred. 
  • Comfortable working outside in various weather conditions.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures. 
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
  • Valid driver's license required and a safe driving record. 
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and move items as required by the job. 
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to drive various types of vehicles.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening.  

Ideal Backgrounds for Lot Attendant

Candidates with experience as a Lot Attendant, Yard Worker, Equipment Operator, Automotive Technician, Mechanic, Construction Worker, Landscaper, Delivery Driver, Warehouse/Yard Associate, Farm Worker, or Skilled Tradesperson are encouraged to apply.


Physical/Outdoor Requirements

This is an active, outdoor position. The successful candidate should be comfortable spending the majority of the workday on their feet and working outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and other weather conditions.
