Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator supports the planning, coordination and execution of cross-functional initiatives across Steele

Brands Management, with primary emphasis on supply chain and business operations support. This is an execution-

focused, in-office role that partners closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Culinary, Marketing, Finance, Training and

Technology to keep projects, trackers and launches moving on schedule.


Supply Chain & Business Operations Support 50%

• Maintain inventory, supplier and distributor trackers, flagging availability concerns and outstanding actions

• Support item setup and maintenance of product information in Restaurant365 and related systems

• Coordinate supplier and distributor follow-up on orders, deliveries and service issues

• Compile routine operational data and reports for review by functional leaders

• Support invoice and data discrepancy tracking, coordinating resolution with Finance and relevant partners

• Coordinate assigned tasks for systems implementations and process improvements


Project Coordination & Execution 30%

• Maintain project plans in Asana, including tasks, owners, deadlines and dependencies

• Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas and document decisions and action items

• Follow up with internal teams and external partners on outstanding deliverables

• Identify and escalate delays, risks and decisions needed to keep projects moving

• Prepare consolidated project updates for leadership and cross-functional teams

• Maintain shared documentation, SOPs, contact lists and training resources

• Track completion of required training, documentation and rollout activities

• Maintain consistent templates and reporting processes that improve visibility and reduce administrative work

• Organize project records so teams can easily access current information and decisions

New Restaurant Opening Support 10%

• Maintain opening checklists and readiness trackers across participating departments

• Coordinate partner meetings and track milestones for equipment, smallwares, technology, inventory and

training

• Confirm delivery schedules and readiness updates with vendors and internal owners

• Prepare weekly opening updates highlighting progress, outstanding needs and risks

• Document post-opening feedback and track assigned improvement actions


Product & Program Launch Support 10%


• Coordinate timelines and deliverables for menu launches, packaging transitions and operational programs

• Support sample requests, testing schedules, feedback collection and approval tracking

• Maintain launch checklists covering product availability, item setup, training and communications

• Follow up on launch readiness with suppliers, distributors and internal teams

• Track post-launch issues and coordinate follow-up with responsible owners

• Timely completion of assigned milestones and deliverables

• Accuracy and consistency of project trackers, reports and documentation

• Proactive identification and escalation of risks and delays

• Effective communication and follow-through on outstanding actions

• Readiness and coordination of restaurant openings, launches and program rollouts

Requirements

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Project Management or a related field, or equivalent relevant

experience

• 2–3+ years of experience in project coordination, business operations, supply chain or a related support role

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with project management tools

• Clear written and verbal communication skills

• Strong attention to detail, accountability and consistent follow-through

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams and external partners


Preferred Qualifications

• Restaurant, foodservice, retail or multi-unit/multi-location operations experience

• Experience with Asana, Restaurant365, CrunchTime or similar business systems

• Experience supporting restaurant openings, product launches or systems implementations

• Familiarity with supplier coordination, distribution and inventory processes

• Exposure to Power BI a plus
