Opportunity:


Virtual Service Operations is searching for a Scrum Master / Project Manager to join our dynamic team of experts in Beavercreek, OH. In this role, you will support Agile delivery activities for engineering teams operating within a classified cloud and infrastructure environment, coordinating Agile ceremonies, maintaining work items in Azure DevOps and Jira, and providing regular status reporting to Microsoft and customer stakeholders. Candidates should bring experience facilitating Scrum and SAFe practices, strong organizational and communication skills, and a background supporting government, DoD, or classified programs. As part of the team, you will help ensure development teams remain focused on delivering customer priorities while supporting continuous improvement and Agile best practices. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement sessions.
  • Manage Scrum Team activities — including Epics, Features, User Stories/PBIs, and Tasks — within Azure DevOps, Jira, or equivalent Agile management tools.
  • Support Product/Workstream Owners and technical leads with backlog management, sprint planning, and prioritization activities.
  • Ensure the Scrum Team works at a sustainable pace to improve focus and consistency.
  • Monitor sprint progress and team velocity, and communicate risks, issues, and schedule impacts to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Collaborate with product managers, system architects, and other program leaders to help lead the SAFe Agile Release Train and deliver value to customers.
  • Coordinate activities across engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and operations teams to support timely delivery.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, status reports, meeting minutes, and action item trackers.
  • Assist in identifying and removing impediments that impact team productivity and delivery objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks proactively.
  • Support continuous process improvement initiatives and Agile best practices.
  • Create and escalate account creation requests and IT tickets.
  • Ensure project documentation and deliverables are maintained and updated in accordance with program requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as the onsite point of contact to coordinate and facilitate CSP and SI visits and project meetings.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Finance, Project Management, or a related field AND 3+ years of leadership experience in a relevant area of business, OR equivalent experience. 
  • 5–8 years of demonstrated performance in related technology. 
  • 5+ years of related experience in SCI/SAP environments. 
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance. 
  • Experience serving as a Scrum Master, Project Manager, Project Coordinator, or Agile team lead supporting software, cloud, infrastructure, or cybersecurity projects.
  • Experience using Azure DevOps, Jira, or equivalent Agile project management tools.
  • Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and supporting Scrum- or Kanban-based delivery teams.
  • Experience supporting government, DoD, or classified programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud, DevOps, infrastructure, or cybersecurity programs.
  • Technical certifications in Azure. 
Requirements
  • Must be within driving distance of Beavercreek, OH OR willing to relocate there (relocation packages available)
  • Must be willing to work onsite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a mission-focused environment.  
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 25%. 
  • Must possess an active TS/ SCI clearance or above
  • Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U.S. citizenship status
