Hospital Dietary Manager / Chef - Full Time

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement meal plans that meet the dietary needs of patients, staff, and visitors, adhering to healthcare regulations and nutritional standards
- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the hospital kitchen, ensuring efficient workflow and food safety compliance
- Manage inventory, procurement, and storage of food supplies and kitchen equipment
- Lead, train, and evaluate kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Ensure all food preparation and service meet quality, safety, and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and dietitians to customize menus for patients with specific dietary restrictions or health conditions
- Monitor and control food costs and budgeting to optimize resources
- Maintain accurate documentation related to food safety, sanitation, and compliance audits
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a chef, dietary manager, or in a similar culinary leadership role within a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of hospital dietary regulations, food safety standards, and nutrition guidelines
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Culinary certification or degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field preferred
- Familiarity with inventory management and budgeting processes
- Commitment to patient-centered care and food quality

Required Job Qualifications include:
- High School diploma or equivalent, required.
- Food Handlers Permit
- Dietary Management Preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/REQUIREMENTS
