The Director, Fleet Sales is responsible for developing and executing factory-direct sales activities for PC-12 and PC-24 aircraft within fleet market segments. The role develops fleet opportunities, builds strategic relationships with operators and industry partners, and manages complex aircraft sales from initial business development through contract execution and closing to achieve established aircraft sales and revenue objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Development and execution of factory-direct PC-12 and PC-24 fleet sales activities in alignment with Business Aviation and company objectives
- Identification and development of new sales opportunities with fleet operators and other applicable business aviation customers
- Management of complex fleet sales opportunities from initial business development through customer engagement, proposal, negotiation, contract execution, and closing
- Development of strategic relationships with fleet operators, senior executives, key decision-makers, aviation service providers, industry partners, and other stakeholders
- Evaluation of customer requirements, aircraft utilization, operating requirements, fleet economics, and other factors affecting aircraft acquisition decisions
- Development of annual sales forecasts and reporting on sales performance, pipeline activity, market opportunities, and significant commercial risks
- Coordination with global and US-based teams on aircraft availability, configuration, customer requirements, proposals, commercial commitments, and delivery planning
- Coordination of internal and external resources required to support complex fleet sales opportunities and customer requirements
- Monitoring of fleet, competitive, and industry trends and identification of opportunities to expand PC-12 and PC-24 aircraft within fleet markets
- Representation of Pilatus Aircraft USA at customer meetings, aircraft demonstrations, industry events, trade shows, and other sales and business development activities
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Aviation, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience; MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of aviation industry experience, including significant experience in aircraft sales, fleet sales, technical sales, or aviation business development
- Demonstrated experience developing, negotiating, and closing high-value aircraft or comparable aviation sales opportunities from proposal development through contract execution and closing
- Experience developing sales opportunities with fleet operators or other institutional aviation customers, including evaluation of operational requirements, aircraft utilization, fleet economics, and acquisition considerations
- Strong knowledge of business and general aviation markets, aircraft operations, systems, maintenance, and technical considerations affecting fleet acquisition decisions
- Experience managing sales pipelines, developing forecasts, evaluating commercial risks and opportunities, and coordinating cross-functional resources for complex transactions
- FAA Pilot Certificate required
- Proficiency with standard business software and systems used for sales, reporting, analysis, and customer relationship management
- Strong business development, commercial judgment, negotiation, relationship management, presentation, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to independently develop strategic customer relationships and high-value sales opportunities; domestic and international travel as required

The hiring range is $150,000 - $180,000 per year. This range represents Pilatus Aircraft USA Ltd.’s estimate of the compensation reasonably expected for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including relevant skills and experience, education, job location, internal equity, market data, and business considerations. The hiring range may be modified in the future based on business or market conditions. Any bonus, incentive compensation, benefits, or other forms of compensation are subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans, programs, and policies and may be modified in accordance with applicable law.
