Have your degree in Accounting, but short on work experience? This opportunity is for you! At SentriLock, we're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Accountant I to join our Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their accounting career to gain hands-on exposure across multiple areas of accounting and finance while working directly with experienced professionals and executive leadership. Unlike larger organizations where entry-level accountants are often limited to a single function, this role offers broad exposure to accounts payable, banking operations, month-end close, cash management, sales and use tax, audit support, and financial reporting processes. You'll work closely with experienced finance professionals, including direct exposure to our CFO, while gaining valuable insight into how finance supports business decisions across the organization.

What You'll Do
As an Accountant I, you will support the Finance department through a variety of accounting, accounts payable, banking, tax, and audit-related responsibilities.
Accounts Payable & Expense Management
- Process accounts payable transactions for SentriLock and UK operations.
- Process employee expense reports and assist with travel expense management through Concur.
- Process journal entries as needed.
Month-End Close & General Accounting
- Create prepaid journal entries and accruals Process payments for received items
- Participate in month-end closing.
Banking & Cash Management
- Perform daily cash application activities.
- Assist with company cash level management.
- Maintain company credit cards.
- Maintain vendor records and process various forms of vendor payments.
- Review and analyze credit card processing.
Accounts Receivable Support
- Serve as backup support for Accounts Receivable processes and activities.
Tax Compliance
- Partner with the Senior Accountant to complete tax returns and submit payments for approval.
Audit Support & Compliance
- Respond to audit requests.
- Generate audit confirmations.
- Adhere to department processes and procedures.
- Maintain and adhere to ISO standards.
Continuous Improvement & Professional Development
- Participate in projects assigned by the manager.
- Seek out and complete appropriate training, development, and research.
- Knowledge of department processes.
- Support the mission, values, and goals of the company.
