Sapient is seeking individuals with a strong interest in financial planning, investment management (public or private), and/or family office services to join our 2027 Summer Analyst Program. Participants in this program will receive an inside look at the daily operations of a growing wealth management firm with opportunities to gain firsthand experience in portfolio management, client strategy, and process improvement initiatives. This program is project-oriented and culminates in a capstone presentation at the end of the summer.
Expected duration is ~10 weeks (June to early August). Full-time, in-office attendance is required while participating in the program.
· Gain exposure to all aspects of wealth management, including client advisory, business development, investment management, operations, etc., by working on a variety of projects that directly influence key business decisions.
· Prepare and analyze reports and financial models to support the ongoing analysis of our clients’ financial plans and ensure alignment with their goals and objectives.
· Assist with critical administrative tasks such as data entry, database maintenance, document management, etc.
· Support investment research and portfolio analysis for client and firm-level strategies
· Assist in preparing client-facing materials, performance reports, and market commentary
· Partner with advisors on financial planning models and scenario analysis
· Assist our wealth strategy and investment teams with ad-hoc projects and research to support our most sophisticated and complex clients
· Regularly engage with firm leadership and senior advisors to build relationships and further your understanding of our industry
· Other duties as assigned
· Active enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program with a GPA of 3.2 or higher. Rising seniors majoring in finance, financial planning, economics, accounting, investment management, or equivalent program strongly preferred.
· Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with comfort in Excel; familiarity with financial modeling or data tools (Python, SQL) is a plus, not a requirement
· Genuine interest in markets, investing, and the wealth-management industry. Strong intent to pursue the CFP or CFA designation after graduation is strongly preferred.
