The Inventory Cycle Counter is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy by performing daily cycle count and reconcile inventory discrepancies within the Twinsburg site. This position will perform daily cycle counts utilizing an RF Scanner and operate an Order Picker style lift truck. The Inventory Cycle Counter will also provide back-up support to the Inventory Lead with administrative and clerical tasks, such as communicating inventory issues and cycle count requests via email and updating inventory locations and inventory statuses within the inventory management system.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Inventory Control and Cycle Counting
- Responsible for all transactions using a computer or an RF hand scanner, including receipts, inventory moves, counts, reservations and/or other transactions or adjustments.
- Utilize the ERP and WMS to count, verify and adjust inventory levels within the DC.
- Read, comprehend and respond to emails related to cycle count and inventory issue.
- Assist Inventory Lead with inventory issue investigations.
- Report all inventory damage or discrepancies to the Quality Manager and/or Distribution Lead.
Safety and Compliance
- Adheres to siffron Twinsburg safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.
- Actively speak up and report safety, environmental or quality concerns.
- Performs daily forklift inspections per shift.
Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of an assigned set of item locations. This includes sweeping, straightening and organizing cartons, closing cartons and ensuring all items are properly labeled.
- Other duties assigned by Inventory Lead include but are not limited to labeling, repacking, and general cleaning duties.

EDUCATION, LICENSES, AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 – 3 years of experience working in a warehouse/distribution center environment
- Experience with shipping or warehouse management system software, preferred
SKILLS (Language, Mathematical, Reasoning, Other)
- Proficient in using a computer and basic functions.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to operate and read an RF Scanner.
- Ability to operate a pallet jack.
- Willingness to learn and operate Order Picker lift truck.
- Ability to use basic and general math.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to walk, lift, bend, and stand for extensive period.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to be dexterous and handle small plastic and metal parts.
- Ability to work overtime, with minimal notice.
- Must be able to multi-task.
- Must be able to effectively communicate and work in a team environment.
