Plant Manager
Description

The Plant Manager is responsible for leading all day-to-day operations at All Juice, a juice co-packing and manufacturing facility in Hendersonville, NC. This hands-on leadership role oversees production, maintenance, sanitation, quality, safety, staffing, and facility operations while ensuring customer requirements and production schedules are met.

The ideal candidate is a practical, solutions-oriented leader who can manage people while also understanding how equipment and manufacturing processes operate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Plant & Production Operations

  • Lead and oversee daily production operations to ensure customer orders and production schedules are completed safely, efficiently, and on time. 
  • Coordinate production activities, staffing, scheduling, and priorities based on customer requirements and operational needs. 
  • Monitor production performance, downtime, waste, and overall efficiency. 
  • Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions to improve productivity and reliability. 
  • Coordinate outside contractors and service providers when specialized repairs are required. 
  • Maintain awareness of equipment condition.

Safety & Facility Management

  • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture throughout the facility. 
  • Identify workplace hazards and ensure corrective actions are completed. 
  • Ensure the facility, equipment, and grounds are maintained in safe working condition. 
  • Investigate incidents and near misses and implement corrective actions. 
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies and applicable regulations. 

Customer & Business Support

  • Support customer production requirements and co-packing commitments. 
  • Communicate operational challenges that may impact production schedules or customer      deliveries. 
  • Work with company leadership to identify opportunities for operational improvement and growth. 
  • Manage operational priorities in a manner that supports customer service, quality, and profitability. 

  

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or food production leadership role, preferably as a Plant Manager, Operations Manager, Production Manager, or similar position. 
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Knowledge of food safety, GMP, sanitation, and workplace safety requirements preferred. 
  • Comfortable working both in an office environment and directly on the production floor.
