Build it. Improve it. Keep it running.
DSA Doors is looking for a Facilities Manager to take ownership of the infrastructure that keeps our manufacturing operation safe, reliable, and running.
This isn't a maintenance supervisor role—and it isn't about simply keeping the lights on.
You'll build the systems, processes, and preventive maintenance program that help us move from reacting to problems to preventing them.
You'll have the opportunity to make a visible impact on our operation while working closely with Production, Operations, vendors, contractors, and leadership.
What You'll Do
Own our facilities.
Take responsibility for the reliability and condition of our buildings, utilities, production-support systems, and grounds—including HVAC, electrical, fire protection, compressed air, dust collection, and other critical infrastructure.
Build our maintenance program.
Establish DSA's preventive maintenance program, implement a CMMS, create maintenance standards and schedules, and use data to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
Think ahead.
Identify infrastructure risks before they become production problems. Develop lifecycle plans for major equipment and facilities, anticipate capacity needs, and help leadership plan for future investments.
Lead projects.
Manage facility improvements, renovations, infrastructure upgrades, and capital projects—from scope and budget through contractor selection and completion.
Keep us safe and compliant.
Coordinate required inspections, testing, and corrective actions while supporting OSHA, fire, building, environmental, and insurance requirements.
Build the right partnerships.
Manage contractors and service providers, hold them accountable for safety, quality, responsiveness, and cost, and make sure DSA gets the value we expect.
What Success Looks Like
Within your first year, we expect to see:
- A functioning, measurable preventive maintenance program
- Better visibility into facility and equipment condition
- Fewer unexpected failures and less unplanned downtime
- Clear plans for major repairs and capital needs
- Stronger contractor and vendor accountability
- Facility projects delivered safely, on time, and within budget
Who We're Looking For
You're likely a strong fit if you:
- Have facilities or industrial maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Understand HVAC, electrical, mechanical, fire protection, and other facility systems
- Have built or managed a preventive maintenance program
- Can manage projects, budgets, contractors, and competing priorities
- Are comfortable being on the manufacturing floor—not managing everything from an office
- Naturally think ahead and solve problems before they become emergencies
- Take ownership and follow issues through to resolution
Experience with MEP systems, dust collection, compressed air, or wood manufacturing is a plus.
Why This Role?
Because you'll have the opportunity to build something—not just maintain it. DSA has a strong manufacturing operation and we're investing in the systems and infrastructure that will support our next stage of growth. This role gives you the ownership and visibility to make a meaningful difference in how our facilities operate. If you're the person who sees the problem before everyone else does, we'd like to meet you.
Apply today and help us build a more reliable operation.
