Sese Industrial is a greenfield operation that has an immediate opening for a Teardown Quality Technician. This person will manage and lead activities for evaluation of incoming goods, assembly processes, and finished products. Report results and support improvement efforts.

ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor and maintain the quality level of product.
• Perform layered audit and quality checks.
• Ability to review parts and make determinations if they pass/fail the quality standards.
• Assist production to manage nonconforming product and to analyze and eliminate problems.
• Perform product and process audits and follow up on non-conformities detected by the audits.
• Ensure the fulfillment of the control plan for incoming goods, assembly processes and finished products.
• Use various tools, fixtures, measurement devices to analyze functionality of product.
• Document and complete required checks utilizing electronic or hard copy means to record product status.
• Participate in managing product containment activity when necessary and determine clean points with operational assistance.
• Ensure 5-S is adhered to properly.
• Monitor and maintain the quality level of product & Teardown
• Assist production to manage nonconforming product and to analyze and eliminate problems.
• Back up Supervisors duties
• Additional responsibilities and activities may be added on a need basis, as assigned by management.

• Broad knowledge of quality systems.
• For second/third shift position: needs more experience being independent – comfortable with decision making.
• Knowledgeable in Quality Systems (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, VW FORMEL-Q) preferred.
• Motivation to confront challenges and changes, ability to influence others to cooperate.
• Acting independently (following process rules, norms, and company policy), depending on superiors.
• Logical-analytical thinking.
• Knowledge of D/TLD concept.
• 1 to 3 years in an automotive environment and /or 6 months in a Quality position.
