Summary:

In depth understanding of injection molding processes and machinery. Ability to change tooling, set up machines, and monitor for accurate process and cycle times of machinery.

Primary Responsibilities:

Primary Duties:

• Set up and change injection tooling
• Simple preventative maintenance of tooling
• Set up assembly stations to produce product

Other:

• Other duties as assigned.

Safety:

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the facility through good housekeeping practices.
• Follow all safety and OSHA guidelines.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Two to five years of experience in injection molding environment.
• Effective verbal and written communications skills.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Self-motivation.

Physical Demands:

Employee must be able to lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds and push or pull up to 150 pounds. Employee must have the ability to complete the following repetitive tasks. Percent involved in each applicable activity is noted.

Working Conditions:

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Requires the use of safety equipment that may include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, hearing protection, and hardhats. Jewelry is not permitted.

Must pass:

• Pre-employment drug screen and physical.
• Background check.

Shifts available dependent on current openings based on production needs : 

Day shift M-F 6:00am-6:00pm Injection

Night shift Su-Th 6:00pm-6:00am with 15% shift premium Injection
