The Lead Slot Attendant is responsible for providing day-to-day leadership and support to Slot Attendants and for assisting with the effective operation of the gaming floor. The position serves as a primary floor resource for Slot Department customer service, attendant activities, and routine slot operations.

The Lead Slot Attendant assists with jackpot payouts, customer requests, machine issues within attendant procedures, floor coverage, and other routine slot operations in accordance with Colorado Gaming rules and regulations and established departmental procedures.

The Lead Slot Attendant provides training, guidance, and support to Slot Attendants, promotes positive customer and team-member interactions, and communicates operational concerns to the Slot Director. The position works closely with the Lead Slot Technician when machine or technical issues require technical assistance.

Requirements

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

1.  Three (3) years of experience in casino operations, including slot floor procedures, customer-service practices, and jackpot payout procedures.

2.  One (1) year of lead or supervisory experience preferred.

3.  Demonstrated ability to provide effective and professional customer service and communicate diplomatically with customers and employees.

4.  Demonstrated ability to handle, secure, count, reconcile, and distribute money accurately and responsibly.

5.  Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize tasks, and respond appropriately to changing floor conditions.

6.  Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and provide direction to Slot Attendants.

7.  Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with the Lead Slot Technician, Slot Director, Key on Duty, Security, and other casino departments.

8.  Demonstrated computer knowledge and ability to use computer-based systems and applications associated with slot operations.

9.  Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructions, established procedures, and applicable Gaming regulations.


SUPERVISORY AND LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES  

1.  Coordinates and prioritizes the daily activities of Slot Attendants and helps ensure appropriate floor coverage and completion of assigned duties.

2.  Provides guidance, coaching, and day-to-day support to Slot Attendants and assists in maintaining consistent departmental standards.

3.  Reviews attendant work and provides guidance when customer-service, operational, documentation, or procedural issues require additional experience or knowledge.

4.  Communicates customer concerns, operational concerns, equipment issues, staffing levels, and other relevant information to the Slot Director.

5.  Promotes a positive and professional working relationship among Slot Department team members.

6.  Works cooperatively with the Lead Slot Technician and provides appropriate information and assistance when technical issues affect slot operations or customers.

7.  Provides backup assistance to the Lead Slot Technician and Slot Director when requested or when they are unavailable, within the scope of the Lead Slot Attendant’s knowledge, training, and authority.



CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

1. Must possess and maintain a valid Colorado driver’s license.

2. Must possess and maintain a valid Colorado Support Gaming License.

3. Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
