Description
The Micromarket Support Team Member supports the day-to-day success of Seventh Wave micromarkets by helping ensure each location is clean, organized, fully functional, and delivering an excellent customer experience. This role provides hands-on field support across market operations, merchandising, installations, technical troubleshooting, and route coverage. The ideal team member is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and willing to jump in wherever needed to keep our micromarkets operating with excellence.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Visit micromarket locations to provide operational support and ensure company standards are consistently maintained.
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate product and market records.
- Support new market installations, including kiosk setup, product placement, merchandising, and market readiness.
- Execute product resets and re-plannograms to maintain accurate, organized, and visually appealing markets.
- Provide first-line troubleshooting for kiosks and related market technology, escalating unresolved issues as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, functionality, and overall presentation of micromarket spaces.
- Conduct product tastings, demos, and other customer engagement activities as needed.
- Provide route coverage, holiday support, and additional field support to maintain consistent customer service.
- Identify and communicate market concerns, customer needs, product opportunities, and operational issues to the appropriate team members.
- Work collaboratively with the Micromarket Support Lead, drivers, and other team members to ensure markets are serviced consistently and with excellence.
- Represent Seventh Wave professionally while interacting with customers, employees, and partners at market locations.
- Perform other duties and support special projects as needed to meet the needs of the Micromarket Team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or additional education preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in retail, food service, merchandising, field service, or a related environment preferred.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to recognize and address issues related to inventory, merchandising, cleanliness, and market presentation.
- Organized and able to manage multiple priorities while working independently in the field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Comfortable learning and troubleshooting kiosks, technology, and related equipment.
- Dependable, adaptable, and willing to support changing operational needs.
- Ability to take ownership of assigned responsibilities and follow through with limited supervision.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
- Ability to travel regularly to customer locations throughout the assigned service area.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting and moving products and equipment as required.
