Description

Reporting to the Associate Director of Fatherhood & Family (AD-FF), the Senior Manager of Fatherhood and Family (SM-FF) assists in leading Care Net’s network of pregnancy centers, churches, organizations, and individuals to embrace ministry to men and families. The SM-FF creates and implements father-friendly strategies, resources, projects, and programs to increase the number of pregnancy centers and other organizations that serve fathers and build families. The SM-FF helps carry out Care Net’s Pro-Abundant Life mission, vision, and strategies and personifies the ministry of Care Net by witnessing Christ through their life, words, and deeds.

Requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with content creation for online courses, written materials (including blogs/articles), social media posts, and webinar educational content
  • Lead the development and presentation of workshops, keynotes, and panels at Care Net conferences and other conferences/events
  • Lead the development and execution of tabled events for the Fatherhood & Family team at national and regional conferences
  • Assist with the management of the growing “Fatherhood Connect” Facebook group and email list of fatherhood contacts through periodic live events and original content
  • Assist in training the Church Engagement (CE) team to help churches integrate their family-strengthening programs into their ministry
  • Proactively reach out to centers to assist and advise them on implementing effective outreaches to men and fathers
  • Assist AD-FF in ensuring fatherhood materials are up to date and meeting the needs of pregnancy centers, organizing and leading projects for updates, as needed
  • Assist in identifying the best local pregnancy center models that effectively engage fathers and promote healthy marriage and family
  • Lead systems management and customer support for Doctor Dad® and other fatherhood-related courses on Care Net University
  • Manage the cultivation of key contacts to equip and mentor a growing network of Fatherhood Champions and offer experience-based assistance in daily fatherhood program operations
  • Lead the expansion of additional Zoom networks and local gatherings for fatherhood practitioners outside of Fatherhood Connect to help them stay connected to fellowship and camaraderie

Best Practices:

  • Assists with developing, reviewing, updating, and promoting Care Net content to equip pregnancy center team members for excellence in organizational best practices and service to people making pregnancy decisions
  • Assists with answering Care Net affiliate inquiries via telephone and email
  • Contributes expert content for the Affiliate Portal 


General:

  • Assist in developing reports on the progress of Fatherhood & Family for key staff 
  • Support the AD-FF and VP-CS on special projects as assigned
  • Maintain records of affiliate contacts where customer care is provided within the HubSpot database
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience leading pregnancy center men’s services
  • Excellent customer service skills, including an ability to resolve problems and satisfy those with complaints
  • Strong sales and marketing skills
  • Strong oral and interpersonal communication skills, including in public speaking and making on-camera presentations
  • Strong written communication skills, including the ability to deliver factual content creatively and engagingly, as well as strong editing skills, including the ability to amend content for clarity, spelling, grammar, and readability
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Familiarity with the Google Suite of applications for work
  • Proficient in working with Microsoft Office software applications: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong technical skills, including the ability to learn new applications, problem-solve, and assist others
  • Able to effectively balance multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while achieving specific objectives
  • Able to work independently with minimal direction

  • Able to work with a diversity of cultures and Christian denominations, backgrounds, and traditions
  • Must be able to travel periodically, as needed, including travel to the Care Net National Conference
  • Four years of college or equivalent years of pregnancy center leadership experience 
  • Committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
  • Possesses a strong commitment and dedication to the pro-life position and related sexual purity/health issues
  • Agrees with and can uphold Care Net’s Statement of Faith, Vision/Mission, Core Values, and Employee Conduct Policy
  • Able to provide Christian prayer support to members of Care Net’s affiliate network

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Five years of experience in customer service, content development, office administration, management, pregnancy center ministry, or a related field
  • Experience in the use of cloud-based databases and data entry
  • Master's Degree or nonprofit leadership certification
  • Additional experience and expertise in related non-profit work and family ministry (pastoral ministry, youth ministry, campus ministry, prison ministry, family counseling, etc.)
