The Family Development Coordinator provides administrative and operational support while helping create a welcoming, organized, and positive experience for our Family Members.
This role supports a variety of Family Development activities including recruitment, administration and office support. AVmedia values your background in recruitment support through our Paylocity portal and ongoing communication and organization serving prospective family members they way they WANT to be served. (resume reviews, initial candidate interviews, and reliable timely status updates)
Admin / Office responsibilities include: Family Member recognition, training, special event, (like CFHLA) and meeting support, office supply management, recordkeeping, and general administrative responsibilities to support the Family Development arm. The Family Development Coordinator will work closely with the Family Development department leader and other leaders to help keep day-to-day processes organized, timely, and running smoothly.
This local, office-based position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, is highly organized, takes initiative, and enjoys being the person who helps make things happen behind the scenes.
Responsibilities
RECRUITING, TRAINING AND ORIENTATION
- Recruiting coordination
- Open and post job requisitions, review resumes, conduct initial screenings, filter status, and set appointments for next interviews with hiring managers
- Post-interview follow-up with hiring managers, status / filtering, inform candidats on decisions or next steps as appropriate
- Draft offer letters and/or communicate turn downs respectfully and update Paylocity based on decisions
- Complete hiring process in Paylocity
- Support onboarding activities and help ensure new Family Members have a welcoming and organized experience
- Administer the orientation Agenda to include keeping the orientation portal up to date and organized
- Coordinate travel, transportation and meals for attendees
- Attend industry events and career fairs as appropriate
HOME OFFICE SUPPORT
- Help communicate Family Development announcements, to include birthdays, anniversaries and new hire bio’s to the AVmedia Family
- Timekeeping reconciliation
- Assist with logistics for meetings, trainings, and other company activities
- Assist with setup and organization for onsite training sessions and meetings
- Organize and maintain office supply inventory
- Order business cards, shirts and other Orientation materials
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 1 year of administrative, Human Resources, recruiting, office coordination, and/or related experience preferred
- Degree in Human Resources is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, recurring responsibilities, and deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with Family Members, candidates, managers, and vendors
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
- Strong follow-through and a willingness to take ownership
- Comfortable learning new systems, processes, and technology
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 applications
- Experience with Paylocity is a plus
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the Family Development team and other members of the AVmedia Family
- Travel up to 25%
