Full-Time | Non-Exempt | Remote, Hybrid, or Onsite
Pay Range: $27.00–$32.00/hour
Are you the kind of HR person who loves a clean HRIS, a completed onboarding checklist, and a candidate who actually knows where to show up on Day 1?
We may be looking for you.
McCready Law is hiring an HR Operations & Recruiting Coordinator to help keep our HR department moving. This is an HR operations-first role with recruiting responsibilities, so you’ll be equal parts organizer, recruiter, systems person, problem-solver, and professional loose-end catcher.
Our HR department is growing and evolving, which means there is plenty of opportunity to improve processes, build structure, and make things work better. If you’re comfortable getting into the weeds, figuring things out, and owning your work from start to finish, you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Keeping Paylocity accurate, current, and moving
- Managing recruiting for assigned roles from posting through pre-employment steps
- Screening candidates and coordinating interviews
- Handling preboarding, onboarding, background checks, and Day 1 readiness
- Maintaining employee files, records, trackers, and HR documentation
- Supporting offboarding and system updates
- Helping manage the HR inbox and making sure requests don’t disappear into the abyss
- Partnering with Finance, Training, IT, Office Management, and department leaders
What We’re Looking For
- 2–4 years of HR operations, HR coordination, onboarding, recruiting, or similar experience
- Hands-on experience using an HRIS and applicant tracking system
- Paylocity experience is strongly preferred
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
- Someone who can manage multiple priorities without constant reminders
- Strong communication and good judgment
- Comfort with Microsoft 365, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint
Compensation
$27.00–$32.00 per hour depending on experience, skills, internal equity, and approved work location.
