Sales Development Representative
Fully Remote Remote Worker - N/A
Description

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated, curious, and highly organized Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Sales team. This position is designed as part of a structured Sales Development and Training Program, providing hands-on experience in Sales Operations while preparing you for a future career in Sales.

Over approximately 8–12 months, you will develop a strong understanding of our products, sales processes, customer experience, and internal workflows while gaining practical exposure to the sales lifecycle. The goal of the program is to develop the skills necessary to transition into a full Sales position and ultimately manage your own book of business. We’re especially looking for individuals with a hunter mentality - driven to prospect and create new opportunities - who want to grow into an outside sales role over time.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is eager to build a career in Sales, learns quickly, takes initiative, and enjoys working directly with both clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Operations

  • Support day-to-day Sales Operations activities and workflows to help the sales team operate efficiently.
  • Develop a strong understanding of our products, services, processes, and customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate and organized sales and customer information within relevant systems and tools.
  • Assist with sales reporting, pipeline management, lead management, and other operational processes.
  • Coordinate with Sales and cross-functional teams to support a smooth and consistent client experience.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales workflows, processes, and efficiency.
  • Take ownership of assigned operational projects and responsibilities.

Sales Development

As part of the Sales Development Program, you will progressively develop core sales skills through training, coaching, observation, and hands-on experience, including:

  • Building deep product and industry expertise.
  • Learning the end-to-end sales process and client lifecycle.
  • Developing lead generation and prospecting skills.
  • Participating in sales meetings, client calls, and discovery sessions.
  • Learning how to identify client needs, qualify opportunities, and communicate value effectively.
  • Developing an understanding of pipeline management, forecasting, and opportunity progression.
  • Shadowing experienced sales professionals and applying learnings through practical exercises and live opportunities.
  • Completing assigned sales training, coaching, and professional development activities.
  • Gradually taking on additional client-facing and sales responsibilities as proficiency develops.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is someone who is highly motivated and eager to grow. You don't need to be an experienced salesperson — we're looking for someone with the drive and potential to become one.

You should be:

· Curious: You enjoy learning how products, businesses, and customers work.

· Driven: You set goals for yourself and take initiative to achieve them.

· Coach-able: You actively seek feedback and use it to improve.

· Communicative: You are comfortable speaking with clients and colleagues and can communicate clearly and professionally.

· Resilient: You can handle challenges, setbacks, and the learning curve that comes with developing a career in Sales.

· Collaborative: You enjoy working with others and contributing to a team.
