Summary/Objective 

The Residential Housekeeping Attendant helps create a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment for TRMF team members. This role supports employee experience by maintaining residential spaces to high cleanliness standards, responding to resident needs, and identifying maintenance or safety concerns. 


Duties/Responsibilities 

  • Clean and maintain residential spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, hallways, laundry areas, and the pet wash station. 
  • Dust, wipe, sanitize, and disinfect surfaces, with special attention to high-touch areas. 
  • Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors based on surface type and cleaning schedule. 
  • Prepare rooms for occupancy by changing bed linens, making beds, and organizing bedrooms. 
  • Restock towels, toiletries, and other essential amenities as needed. 
  • Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing, as needed. 
  • Dispose of waste in a sanitary manner and manage recycling when applicable. 
  • Inspect residential areas for cleanliness, safety hazards, and maintenance needs, and report issues promptly. 
  • Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment and report shortages or damage. 
  • Follow health and safety procedures and use environmentally responsible cleaning products when available. 
  • Respond to resident requests promptly, professionally, and with a service-minded approach. 
  • Complete weekly, monthly, and seasonal deep-cleaning routines to maintain sanitation standards. 
  • Participate in workplace safety meetings and training as required. 
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Skills and Qualifications 

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and moving furniture. 
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety procedures. 
  • No formal education is required; on-the-job training is provided. 

Work Environment 

  • Residential seasonal buildings, apartment complexes, employee housing, and the Life Skills Center. 
  • May include early mornings, evenings, or weekends based on operational needs. 
  • May involve exposure to varying weather conditions and residential environments. 


Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. at times.
