We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sourcing & Supply Chain Manager / Supplier Negotiation Specialist to join our team. This position will play a key role in managing strategic sourcing, supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and supply chain performance in a fast-paced aviation environment.  If you have what it takes to perform this job, then we want you in our team!  


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies for aviation parts, materials, equipment, and services.
  • Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, lead times, warranties, and service-level agreements.
  • Manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with company, aviation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor supplier performance, quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness.
  • Lead cost-reduction and value-improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare and analyze requests for quotations, bids, proposals, and supplier comparisons.
  • Collaborate with procurement, engineering, quality, operations, maintenance, finance, and leadership teams.
  • Resolve supply disruptions, shortages, quality concerns, and delivery issues.
  • Maintain accurate sourcing records, contracts, pricing agreements, and supplier documentation.
  • Support inventory planning, demand forecasting, and supply chain continuity.
  • Conduct market research and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Ensure purchasing activities comply with applicable aviation standards and company policies.
  • Prepare regular reports on supplier performance, savings, risks, and sourcing activities.
Requirements

Experience, Qualifications and Skills:  


Experience:

  • Experience in the aviation, aerospace, airline, MRO, manufacturing, or transportation industry preferred but not required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience is a plus.
  • Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain management, or supplier negotiations.

Skills:

  • Strong contract negotiation and vendor-management skills.
  • Excellent communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
