SUMMARY:
The Site Strategy Lead is responsible for the end-to-end sales of services for new clinical research site clients. This includes identifying new potential clients through outreach, overseeing client presentations, developing and managing proposals for all of site service lines. This role oversees the end-to-end sales responsibilities and activities for potential clinical research site clients. This includes the identification of new potential clients through outbound sales tactics, qualification of inbound leads, education of potential clients on site services via presentations, development and delivery of contracts to potential clients, and handoff of newly signed clients to operations for onboarding.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Develop an in-depth understanding of all site services, tactics and overall strategies.
- Conduct prospecting for new potential client candidates, through call and email outreach, that meet the criteria and descriptions of research institutions provided by management.
- Outreach to assigned new companies and manage day to day task list in Salesforce.
- Meet or exceed quota for number of contracts executed with clinical research institutions
- Oversee the customization of all site focused presentations and conduct these in front of new site clients.
- Lead any strategy meetings with appropriate internal team members to ensure the best strategies are pushed forward to potential new site clients.
- Facilitate the education and transition of landed new clients to the appropriate department to ensure a smooth transition to the new team managing the client.
- Ensure that a high level of customer service is being provided to all potential and current clients through high levels and accuracy of communications (Follow-up emails after conference calls, updating internal team members, etc.)
- Ensure Salesforce records such as tasks, leads, and opportunities are updated in real-time with complete notes and dates.
- Assist in the preparation and attendance of specific clinical research institution focused conferences.
- Assist in the training of new team members in site sales as well as data input and organization when needed.
- Serve as an extension of the client team in order to successfully spearhead the completion of internal deliverables in accordance with project timelines.
- Assist with internal guidance document creation and complete revisions as needed in department
- Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.

- Proven track record of building and maintaining effective professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Self-motivated; able to work independently to complete tasks respond to department requests and collaborate with others to utilize their resources and knowledge to identify quality solutions.
- Familiarity with the clinical research industry and working knowledge of associated services and products is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), CRM (e.g., Salesforce), and database applications.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, marketing, healthcare, or related discipline.
- Minimum two (2) years of professional experience in sales, relationship management and/or business development Experience in clinical research industry is preferred.
ENVIRONMENT:
This is remote position based on the location of the incumbent’s home and operating in a home-office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, printers, copiers, and phones.
Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Approximately 20% travel may be required to support the position’s responsibilities
